- Iodosorb powder is a sterile dark brown powder consisting of cadexomer (modified starch microbeads) with iodine (the cadexomer beads are biodegradable)
- Mode of Action
- Iodosorb powder will remove excess exudate and slough from the wound bed, and reduce bacteria at the wound surface.
- In doing this, it transforms into a soft moist gel

- Topical treatment of chronic exuding wounds
- Infected wounds
- Can be used under compression therapy
